Mantas Ezcaray - Rozco RZ-39 Rust Chocolate

Mantas Ezcaray is the successor to and heir of Cecilio Valgañón, who, around 1930, shifted from producing cloth on his handlooms to manufacturing handkerchiefs, scarves, shawls and blankets. The processes make use of the finest natural fibres that nature provides, which skilled and expert hands transform.

"Ezcaray is a municipality in La Rioja (Spain). It is situated in the south-west of the region, in the La Rioja Alta district, and more specifically in the Upper Oja Valley. It has a population of 2,069.

Surrounded by mountains, forests and abundant water, it has been a leading centre of the textile industry for centuries.
The resources of its surroundings have underpinned its economic development for hundreds of years."

Mantas Ezcaray ensure that all the natural fibres they source come from animals that are exceptionally well cared for, both on the farms where they live and graze freely, and during shearing. You can read more about their sustainability here.
