Originally designed for horsemen to protect their clothing from trail dust in the late 1800's, the traditional duster was then adapted and used for protection in automobile attire. Cut from the pattern of an original duster, its detailing and silhouette date it around 1900-1915. 

Featuring a full button front, generous side pockets, and raglan sleeves that are great for allowing cosy layering in the cooler months. 1915 Duster Jacket’s sleeves are finished beautifully with the same Japanese-made buttons (used throughout), and the mid-weight linen makes the 1915 Duster a trans-seasonal staple. 

Your 1915 Duster Jacket will arrive pre-washed, the linen will be soft and more crumpled as it is not ironed after washing. With each and every wear your 1915 Duster Jacket will soften, showcasing the gorgeous European Linen.
