Over the years, Marimekko's designers have created some 3,500 print designs, which have graced everything from dresses and bags, to ceramics, fabrics, and more, proving their timeless appeal.
Made of white stoneware, this small rectangular plate features the Unikko pattern in red. Use it as a jewellery display, trinket tray, soap dish, or your designated chocolate treat plate!
Marimekko's famous poppy pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house's collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
