Fisherman Out of Ireland was founded by the renowned Blarney Woollen Mills family business in 1991. A close knit team of 43 people, for 30 years now they have been at the forefront of design led Irish knitwear.

From the first stitch to the final press, each piece of Fisherman Out Of Ireland's entire collection for men and women is made in Kilcar, County Donegal, a small Gaeltacht (Irish speaking) village rich in the textile tradition and nestled between the Derryveagh mountains and the wild Atlantic ocean. It is this awe inspiring environment, along with the local fishing communities, which constantly feeds inspiration when creating new yarns, colours and styles for each new Collection.
