Walker Slater was founded in 1989 in the Scottish Highlands before settling Edinburgh’s Old Town, where its headquarters are today. Despite now being over 30 years old, the company has not deviated from its mission, which is to champion the heritage and sustainability of tweed and woollen fabrics through contemporary and elegant clothing.

Walker Slater’s signature classic jacket, the Iona, is named after a Scottish Isle loved for its tranquillity and natural beauty.

The Iona is simple and traditional in style. It is longer in length than most blazers with just 1 button to fasten the front, a single vent and buttoned cuff.

Fabric: A deep green base interspersed with flecks of bright blues, yellows and reds.

Harris Tweed is created using fully grown Cheviot and Scottish Blackface sheep. These sheep have a dense and springy wool, resulting in a resilient and robust heavy-weight tweed. 

Composition: 100% Wool Outer, 100% Viscose Lining

Origin: Designed, made and tailored in Scotland.

Sizing: Runs small. We suggest sizing up if you are broad in the shoulder or have a larger bust.
